🌆 Mississauga Partnership Expands Affordable Homes

The city is celebrating a step as Mississauga partners with Habitat for Humanity HMD to bring affordable homes to families. Five units near Cooksville GO mark the beginning of a model speeds access to ownership.

This new collaboration links the City, Habitat, and developers in a approach that makes use of units. It gives families a stable path into ownership, helping them build savings and a stronger future in Mississauga.

🏙️ Rangeview Estates Brings New Life to the Waterfront

A huge new community could be taking shape along Lakeshore Road East, where more than 5,000 homes are being proposed for the Rangeview Estates development. The plan includes everything from townhouses to mid-rise and taller buildings, creating a walkable neighbourhood that connects easily to future transit and the nearby Lakeview Village project.

City staff are recommending approval, noting years of consultation and thoughtful planning. While construction is still far off, this vision hints at a lively waterfront community many residents may one day call home.

🏃‍♀️ New Malton Sports Facility Finally Opens Its Gates

After years of delays, Malton is celebrating a bright new track and field complex at Anaka Park beside Ascension of Our Lord Secondary School. The project brought the City, the school board, and the province together, giving students their first proper outdoor field in two decades and offering neighbours a fresh, modern place to stay active.

The space includes a lit turf field, a four lane track, new playground features and fresh landscaping. Residents are already calling it a welcome boost for local families, and it marks a long overdue win for the community.
